The decor had a lovely touch of traditional charm, making me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, which was perfect for a senior like me. It was also great to see that the cottage had good accessibility for senior people, making my stay comfortable and hassle-free.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff, especially when it came to activities and amenities suitable for seniors.

I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decoration of the cottage. It truly felt like stepping into a traditional English home, with floral wallpaper and quaint furnishings. The general areas of the cottage were clean and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people like myself to move around comfortably. , I appreciated how accessible the cottage was, with everything conveniently located on the ground floor. It made my stay hassle-free and enjoyable.
It would have been even better if there were grab bars in the bathroom for extra support.

The Watershed Cottage was a cozy and inviting place to stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer for me as a guest with physical handicaps. I felt independent and empowered to cook my own meals.
Personally, I found that having only one bathroom with a bath or shower was a bit of a downside. But hey, maybe others enjoy taking turns in the bathroom!

We had an amazing stay at this cottage on our recent trip. the location was perfect, with easy access to both town and the beautiful countryside. the bedroom was quiet and cozy, thanks to the heavy curtains and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. the cottage was very clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a fully-equipped kitchen. the owner's personal touch with flowers, biscuits, and milk made us feel welcome.
It could get a bit noisy in the morning due to the main road nearby, but that was easily resolved by closing the window vent.

We recently stayed at a charming cottage in the beautiful countryside. The location was perfect, with easy access to both the town and the countryside. The cottage was clean and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. Despite being on a main road, the bedroom was quiet thanks to heavy curtains. We especially enjoyed the nearby Settle to Carlisle Railway line, which provided stunning views. we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.
